Allison Cohn

Allison Cohn is a New York City based independent casting director specializing in comedy.  A few of her recent projects include the new Showtime animated series from Stephen Colbert, Our Cartoon President, the Adult Swim live-action scripted series, Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell, and a live-action scripted series for that was written and directed by, and starring, Wyatt Cenac.  Allison is also the comedian talent booker for the TruTV series, Comedy Knockout, that has filmed 3 seasons and 96 episodes.  In addition to casting series for tv and the web, she also casts talent for film and commercials.


Michael Cox

Michael is the stand-up booker for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, as well as a guest judge for the Stand-Up NBC Inclusion Program. Michael previously booked and produced the panel of comedians for Chelsea Lately with Chelsea Handler, as well as late night and primetime shows for David Spade, Whitney Cummings, Terry Crews, Josh Wolf & Nikki Glaser. This will be Michael’s 7th year attending The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival.

Alex Goodman is a Talent Manager at Levity Entertainment Group where he works with artists ranging from rising comedians, actors, and writers, to nationally touring acts and comedy legends. Alex is a St. Louis native who has always possessed a strong passion for entertainment, and moved to Los Angeles with the intention of working with and developing comedy talent.

Emmy Award winner Marc Hirschfeld was appointed Executive Vice President, Casting, NBC Universal Television Entertainment, in June 1999 and served in that capacity through December 2008.  During his tenure he was responsible for overseeing casting for all NBC Entertainment, Syfy, Bravo and USA Network scripted programs.  Additionally, he consulted on unscripted programming, specifically in the area of hosting and celebrities for NBC primetime reality programming as well as for NBC News and special projects.  As the senior executive in charge of talent at NBCU, Hirschfeld was responsible for on air diversity in all of NBC Universal’s scripted series and spearheaded all NBC network talent diversity initiatives and programs.

Among the dozens of television series cast during his term at NBC Universal, Hirschfeld supervised the original casting of such NBC series as the Emmy Award-winning “The Office, and “30 Rock”, “Heroes,” “My Name Is Earl,” “Friday Night Lights,” and “Southland” among others.  On the cable side he supervised the casting of USA Network hits “Psych”, “Burn Notice”, “In Plain Sight”, “Starter Wife” “Royal Pains” and “White Collar”. .  At Syfy Network, he shepherded the original casting of “Eureka”, “Warehouse 13” and the Battlestar Gallactica prequel “Caprica”.

Since his departure from NBC Universal in 2009, Hirschfeld has returned to his casting roots, casting multiple pilots that have been ordered to series including “Kevin Can Wait” starring Kevin James,  “Last Man Standing” starring Tim Allen for ABC, “The Jim Gaffigan Show” for TVLand, “The Shannara Chronicles” for Paramount Network, “Black Sails” for Starz, “Marco Polo” for Netflix, Chelsea Handler’s “Are You There, Chelsea?” for NBC, “I Just Want My Pants Back”, directed by Doug Liman, for MTV, and “Happily Divorced” starring Fran Drescher for TVLand. He is currently casting season 2 of “Man With A Plan” starring Matt LeBlanc for CBS , “Bobcat Goldthwait’s Misfits and Monsters” for TruTV and “Ash vs. Evil Dead” for Starz.

Hirschfeld also has a casting consultant business and currently supervises all casting for AMC Network including “The Walking Dead”, “Halt and Catch Fire”, “Turn”, “Better Call Saul”, and “The Son” as well as consulting for sister networks BBC America and Sundance Channel.   Previously he served as casting executive for all casting for Starz Media including “American Gods”, “Spartacus”, “Camelot”, “Outlander”, “Power” and “Black Sails”.  He also had consulting stints at eOne Entertainment, Gaumont International Television and CMT.

Laura Kramer is the Talent Coordinator for Funny Bone & Improv Comedy Clubs with 15 years of experience in the comedy industry. She works directly with Dave Stroupe (Stroupe Productions), overseeing booking for 16 comedy clubs nationally. Laura is from Chicago, Illinois and currently resides in Columbus, Ohio.

Barb North

Barb North is the shorter half of the married team Barb and Steve North, owners of Brook Forest Entertainment, a comedy management/ development company.  The North’s are no strangers to acting and comedy.  Beginning as actors and a comedy team themselves– Barb and Steve headlined clubs and colleges and appeared on over 30 network and syndicated television shows before their career took them behind the camera writing and producing.

The North’s were head writers for The Gong Show and wrote or produced for many others including Candid Camera, Make Me Laugh, Bachelor Party and Switcheroo.  They have worked in development, created shows, and sold formats of shows they created in the expanding International market of television and new media

For many years, the pair have also taught standup, improv and acting and privately coach actors, hosts and standup comedians. They have been talent managers for over 25 years and have a roster of actors and comedians that have appeared on most late night and comedy/variety shows, have appeared as series regulars, recurring characters or guest stars on Nickelodeon, Disney, Showtime, Comedy Central and the major networks.

Brittainy Roberts is the VP of Casting at FOX Broadcasting Company. She Produces the FOX Night of Comedy Showcase for the Network which has featured such performers as Jerrod Carmichael, Ali Wong, Pete Davidson, Jermaine Fowler, Brent Morin, and Chris Redd to name a few.

Lucy Sinsheimer is a manager and talent booker for Zanies Nashville and Stand Up Live Huntsville. She produces multiple monthly showcases, including “Comedy out the Yazoo,” “Funny As Ale,” and “Brunch of Laughs.”


Laura Soo Hoo

Over the past ninteen years, Laura Soo Hoo has established herself as one of the most prominent commercial talent agents in the industry.  After getting her start at Acme Talent, Laura briefly moved to Special Artists before making her way to The Osbrink Agency.  Here she found her niche in the business by focusing on what she loved: comedy.  At Osbrink Laura proved instrumental in expanding the agency, simultaneously heading both the commercial and comedy theatrical divisions. In 2007, Ms. Soo Hoo took the next bold step in her career by opening Reign Agency.  Reign, located in Beverly Hills, has a client base of some of the industry’s most talented performers, working not just in her core commercial business, but also in television, film and print.  In 2006, Laura won the Seymour Heller Award for Excellence as Adult Commercial Agent of the Year by the Talent Managers Association.

Jason Steinberg

Jason Steinberg is best known for discovering Dave Chappelle.  He also ran the Boston Comedy Club in Manhattan from 1989 through 1996.
He proudly represented Patrice O’Neal and currently represents Donnell Rawlings, Tony Woods and Marshall Brandon.


Jordan Tilzer

Jordan Tilzer is the founder of El Centro, a comedy-focused management and production company based in Los Angeles.  Prior to the 2015 launch of the company, Tilzer was a senior manager and head of talent at ROAR, a Beverly Hills based talent, music, and brand management company. At ROAR, he was instrumental in building a comedy division that lead to dozens  of development deals, film and TV castings, and writing staff positions for comedic artists. He also executive produced several scripted and unscripted projects as well as standup comedy specials. Previous to ROAR, Tilzer worked in the talent department of United Talent Agency.  El Centro represents a diverse group of the finest creators, writers, and performers that come primarily from the sketch, improv, standup, and theatre worlds. We are committed to discovering and nurturing underrepresented voices across the country.

Jennifer Trujillo joined Walt Disney Television Animation in 2010 as a casting coordinator, cutting her teeth on series like “Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil,” “Motorcity,” and “Tron: Uprising.” She has since risen to her current role as manager of casting, where she currently handles the creative casting and talent booking for multiple series on Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior, including “Elena of Avalor,” “Mickey Mouse Shorts,” and “Vampirina.” Her other credits include “Wander Over Yonder,” “Pickle & Peanut,” “The 7D,” “Muppet Babies,” “Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja,” and “Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero.”

Erin Von Schonfeldt 

Von Schonfeldt serves as Executive Vice President, Talent for Levity Entertainment Group where she is chiefly responsible for identifying, booking and scheduling all comedy talent for 25 venues nationwide. She has booked multiple comedy festivals for HBO, TBS and the South Africa Comedy Festival, dozens of prime-time television shows for U.S., U.K. and Canadian audiences and admits to having watched over 20,000 hours of live comedy.  With 27 years of experience, Von Schonfeldt remains one of the industry’s most preeminent casting executives.
